This amendment includes the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom to assembly, and the right to petition. In the right, Freedom of Speech, the Constitution doesn't protect the citizens rights if they use slander, or they say words like "bomb'' or "fire" in a crowded area, or public area. Also, the constitution doesn't protect the rights if the person speaks liberal- a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation(Dictionary.com). The right to press is that anybody can print anything in the newspapers. The freedom of religion is that anybody in the states can follow any religion and is not forced to follow one religion. The right to assembly is that any group can have meetings, but have a permit from the Supreme Court.
