Accused people in the trial have the right to know the charges against the, and they can hear the trial. They can also question witnesses testifying against them. Defendants can forgot trial and agree to a plea bargain. When a person pleas bargain, the person pleas guilty and takes a lesser consequence. The accused person has the right to an attorney, and if he can't get one, the government provides one.
